The Department of Mathematics, since its very inception in 2012 in the faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science has been showing its excellence in various branches of mathematics and computing and has been vigorously engaged in research, teaching, and training. Growing steadily, today the department offers the programme of M. Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Ph.D. in Mathematics. The department reinforces opportunities for the education and research in a wide spectrum of areas in Mathematics by concentrating on Analytical and Computational methods for differential and Integral equations, Numerical Analysis, Graph theory and Networks, Optimization, Mathematical Analysis, Fuzzy Logics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Financial Derivatives and Modelling.
